DODICI CORDE
Danielle Saxon Reeves - guitar, Mark Willetts - guitar
Early Romantic, Guitar Duo

Performing in full period costume and delighting audiences in splendid venues, Dodici Corde Guitar Duo explore the guitar duo repertoire of the era of the Early Romantic Guitar (c1780-1880), performing the rarely played works of composers such as Giuliani, Sor, Carulli, Diabelli, Mertz, Coste, and L’Hoyer, whilst giving audiences a rare opportunity to hear these neglected works on original period instruments.  They have performed in beautiful buildings and at events all over the UK; including appearances for St David's Cathedral Festival, the York Guitar Festival, Hartlebury Castle, the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, and on BBC Radio & Television.

"Listening to Dodici Corde, we were transported back to the salons of the 19th Century to hear exquisite playing on beautiful period instruments...a real treat".

- Worcester Early Music Festival

"The sound produced by Danielle and Mark from these exquisite instruments was rich, rounded and beautiful and perfect... We look forward to welcoming them again very soon." - Jane Austen Festival
