Orchestra for children and adults with additional needs

In 2018, we established a new orchestra for children and adults with additional needs (including with or without EHCPs/SEN support), including Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Communication Difficulties, SEMH, Sensory Impairments and any other unique qualities!

The Generation CAN Awards are local awards to celebrate the remarkable achievements of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and the adults who support them.

​​​​This new project is a joint venture based on the Special Virtuosi Orchestra in Manchester (www.specialvirtuosi.co.uk) and brought to the Elgar School of Music by its founder, Noriko Tsuzaki.

​

Monthly rehearsals leading up to performances take place from 1.30pm - 3.30pm on Sundays.

​

Parents and carers are welcome.
