Elgar Baroque Singers
John Wilderspin, Director

The Elgar Baroque singers are a choir for advanced singers whose repertoire draws from the Renaissance, Restoration, Baroque and Early Classical Periods.

The choir made its debut in a public performance of Henry Purcell's Jubilate and has further engagements planned for Worcester, Oxford, London and abroad.

The choir performs regularly with early instrumental ensembles and orchestras and employs soloists from within the ranks of the choir. It has set its mission to promote awareness of early music to a wider audience, especially younger people.
